Essential skills for work and life

Some people seem to be able to easily and clearly express themselves, ask for their needs to be met and sometimes disagree with the opinions of others, without upsetting the other person or being met with undue resistance. These talented people have become practiced in the skills of communication. The tools of effective communication are priceless to managers and other employees alike, and enhance performance in work and business dealings, as well as the quality of relationships at home with family and friends.
Effective Communication: Essential skills for work and life is a program designed to help you access powerful tools to improve your work and personal relationships, decrease conflict and frustration, and help you to get your voice heard and needs met in a way that is meaningful, and respectful to you and to others.
What the program offers

  • The PeopleSense HealthSteps Effective Communication Program:
  • Provides you with skills to increase your confidence expressing yourself in a way that is likely to be well received by your audience
  • Teaches you about the barriers to effective communication and how to avoid them
