The goal of rehabilitation is primarily to return an injured worker to their pre-injury role. However, there are occasions where this may not be possible. For instance, following an injury, it may not be medically appropriate to return the worker to a role, for fear of re-injury. In such cases, it may be appropriate to consider redeployment to a new role, or company. PeopleSense has an award winning employment and redeployment team who will work with the injured worker to identify existing skills, upskilling and seek an alternative placement. Although it cannot be guaranteed, our goal is to identify alternative employment for the worker, to maximise the chances of long term success. As part of the redeployment process, the injured worker may be expected to undergo a Vocational Assessment, or a Transferable Skills Assessment with an experienced and qualified PeopleSense Psychologist.
